1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using TableForge ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Service Description

TableForge provides AI-powered table extraction services from various document formats including PDFs, Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and images. Our service converts tables within these documents into structured data formats such as Excel and CSV files.

3. User Accounts and Registration

• You may use our service without creating an account for basic functionality
• Account creation requires a valid email address
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account

4. Payment Terms

• Payment is required before document processing begins
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscription fees are billed monthly and automatically renew
• Refunds may be provided at our discretion for service failures
• Prices may change with 30 days advance notice

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload documents containing illegal, harmful, or copyrighted content without permission
• Process documents containing personal data of others without consent
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise our systems
• Use automated tools to overwhelm our service
• Resell or redistribute our service without permission
• Upload malware, viruses, or other harmful content

6. Data Processing and Privacy

• Your documents are processed temporarily and we make commercially reasonable efforts to delete them when your session ends or within 24 hours, whichever comes first
• We implement commercially reasonable security measures designed to protect your data
• Your data is processed in compliance with applicable laws including GDPR where applicable
• We do not intentionally share your documents or extracted data with third parties except as required by law

7. Service Availability and Quality

• We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Extraction accuracy may vary depending on document quality and format
• We may temporarily suspend service for maintenance with or without notice
• Processing times may vary based on document complexity and current load

8. Intellectual Property

• You retain all rights to your documents and extracted data
• TableForge retains rights to our software, algorithms, and service
• You grant us temporary rights to process your documents for service delivery
• Our service and technology are protected by copyright and other IP laws

9. Disclaimers of Warranties

• Merchantability: No warranty that the service is suitable for any particular purpose
• Fitness for Purpose: No guarantee the service meets your specific requirements
• Non-Infringement: No warranty that use of the service will not infringe third-party rights
• Accuracy: No guarantee regarding accuracy, reliability, or completeness of extracted data
• Security: While we implement commercially reasonable security measures, we do not warrant that our service is completely secure or free from vulnerabilities, viruses, or other harmful components
• Data Retention: While we make best efforts to implement zero data retention and automated deletion, we do not guarantee complete or immediate data deletion. Technical issues, backups, or system failures may result in data persisting longer than intended
• Availability: No guarantee of uninterrupted, timely, or error-free service

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of Liability

TableForge, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from:
  • Your use or inability to use the service
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Data breaches or security incidents, despite our best efforts to prevent them
  • Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in extracted data
  • Loss or corruption of uploaded documents or extracted data
  • Failure to delete data as described in our retention policies
  • Any third-party services or content accessed through our service
  • Service interruptions, delays, or failures

Maximum Liability: In no event shall TableForge's total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action exceed the amount you paid to TableForge in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

These limitations apply even if TableForge has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TableForge, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the service
• Your violation of these Terms of Service
• Your violation of any rights of another party, including intellectual property rights
• Your documents or content uploaded to the service
• Any claim that your use of the service caused damage to a third party

12. Termination

• Either party may terminate this agreement at any time
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately
• Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period

13. Security and Best Efforts

We make commercially reasonable efforts to implement and maintain:

• Zero Data Retention: Automated systems designed to delete your documents and extracted data when your session ends
• Encryption: Industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest
• Secure Processing: Isolated processing environments designed to prevent data leakage
• Access Controls: Restricted access to user data and systems
• Automated Cleanup: Hourly backend jobs designed to purge orphaned session data

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via:

• Email notification to registered users
• Prominent notice on our website
• In-app notifications

Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where TableForge is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TableForge regarding the use of the service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
